Hakgala Botanical Gardens

There are five main National Botanical garden in Srilanka among them Hakgala is one of them. Second largest garden is Hakgala garden. The garden is contiguous to Hakgala Strict Nature Reserve. The garden has more than thousands of plantains and different kinds of flowers. Within the spring season in Nuwara-Eliya thousands of visitors are attracted to this place and Orchid and also roses are the main part of the items that took the garden. The climate is almost equal to the Nuwara -Eliya and that's the most effective reason for beautiful different kinds of flower blooms. The Hakgala Botanical garden has several major locations. Middle pond and bulb garden, Rose garden, Glass House, Upper flower garden, lower flower garden, Fernery, Rock garden and arboretum.
